Quilting......another hobby I will probably never take up. okay maybe a smaller blanket I could handle.
It's a queen size blanket so it is pretty large. Someday you will see a pic of my kids all wrapped up in it on the couch because I really have no idea what to do with it. What DO people do with these???

Your birthday check is coming!!
So today is my older brothers 29th birthday and no this is not a new tradition of mine but since he is living in China this is the only way to wish him a happy birthday. Since we were only 2 years apart, growing up we were always close and stayed up talking a lot of nights. I have many memories of Andrew my mom and I staying up late just talking, we still do this when we are together though that is rare now. He has always loved to bug people and make them mad at him but somehow they always ended up liking him and forgiving him quickly. There were also the times where we would stay up talking and I would tell him something about a friend and the next day he would yell what I said to that girl as he was skating away on his rollerblades laughing. (rollerblades were the cool way to get around in middle school) leaving me in that akward situation. He has dated a lot of my friends and I know half my friends have had crushes on him at one time or another. ( you can all admit it now that you are happily married)
We both love music and when we like a new song like to play it frequently until everyone is sick of it. I even named my child after him although Ben hates his name Benjamin Andrew and will never admit that that is his name and he always claims that he gave it back to Uncle Andrew. Andrew always has and I'm sure will always tease my kids to the point of almost crying, I think this was how we were raised and now it's pretty hard offend me or really bother me and hopefully it will make my kids stronger.
I always knew I would like whoever Andrew married so when he was dating a couple girls that I didn't really like that much I wasn't suprised when they eventually broke up. When he found Kimi and I got to know her I knew that she would be great for him and I loved her bluntness and always honest answers. She never acted fake and I knew that she would be able to put up with him and all his habbits that gross his sisters out. I also always thought we would have kids together and hopefully we will have 1 together eventually. So Happy Birthday Andrew, I wish you were here so we could go out to Sushi Brokers for your birthday and stay up late talking but since you are in China have a yummy bowl of fish soup and bean filled icecream bar. Also come home after this year..............China has no nieces.

being almost two she is acting a lot better. It was
Barney for a straight 3 days there but at least it
kept her happy.
Also good news for me, I finally have a child that
will eat and LIKES salad. My baby girl sat and ate
a big salad with me for lunch with some grilled chicken
in it. It is such a good salad but when I have forced Hunter
to eat it he starts gagging and almost throws up. Ben just
refuses to go near it. So needless to say I am excited
to have a salad eating kid. I love having a girl. At some
point everyday I realize that I get to keep this cute little girl
that I wanted for so long and am so glad I get to look
into a closet and see cute dresses and coats. I really love just
playing with her and seeing her fun personality coming out.
She is a little bit defiant and of course likes things her own way
but I really didn't expect anything different. At least we can eat
salads together.
Of course I really do love having boys also.

Finally a "mom -haircut"
MY CUTE NEPHEW LUKE
So I realize I'm not a new mother but I have finally broken down and gotten a mom haircut.
Yes I am about 7 years late but better late than never to realize that shorter hair means less time on your hair and more time to spend .........updating my blog. Truthfully I rarely do my hair and those of you who see me on a regular basis know that even if I have done my hair it always ends up in a ponytail so I basically look like a bum 90% of the time. So this haircut is shockingly short but I think it will soon grow to a perfect length and now iI will actually have a style to my hair. Anyways the pics are bad because I am not used to taking pics of myself. (I need to ask Jenna for some tips on taking hundreds of pics of yourself).

I'm not gonna write you a love song.......
I have felt like I have had nothing to blog about lately and still can't make up my mind on what to write about.
Things I am thinking about writing a post on;
How I feel about the Suns trading Marion for Shaq(whos really old), It will add a new element of excitment to the games and now Hunter will have a new Suns player to memorize stats on. I can't wait for our chats over breakfast about this guy.
How relieved I was when Steve Nash cut his hair last week making is so Hunter could now get his hair cut as well. If there was ever a kid that cannot pull off the long hair look it's Hunter. It's mainly just the texture that is so thick and reminds me of a chia pet in that it just grows outward and up and very very straight. Looks best cut nice and short.
How I am already thinking about all the things I am going to do next year when I have only one child at home. I know this is far off but seriously this just seems so wierd to me. One kid is easy.
How I gave up on potty training after two days. ONE bad day and I was done. Really wimpy I know but now I know she knows how to go if she wants to. Everyday since we quit she will come up to one of us and start undressing herself saying "hottie" (potty). Then we take her to the big toilet and she always goes. I think she is trying to potty train herself since her mom is a quitter.
So far I am a believer that girls are easier to train than boys and my boys were not too bad but not THIS easy. I don't know why I am talking like she is potty trained?
The Elections...............politics is a dirty buisness and I am unhappy with the outcome. The better man doesn't win , but the really really old guy does and his wife looks plastic, thats all.
How it's been too cold to go running here. I went a couple nights ago and it was freezing and really windy and I might have fallen once ( it was cooold)but still I kept running. I am waiting for this weekend when it will be back in the 70 right where I like it. Then I will run outside again.
How I am looking forward to Friday night when the kids will go sleep over at thier Grandparents house at 3:00. Soooo nice. I don't know why it is the best thing to have no kids to get to bed and no one coming into your bed in the middle of the night and no breakfast to make the second you wake up. I do enjoy those things most the time (well i don't mind them) but having a break from them is soooo nice. less than 48 hours. So nice to have close grandparents that love your kids and are missing them because they haven't seen them for 10 days.
So thats enough for now. again no pics. I need a new camera bad! If anyone talks to my husband remind him......
