So this was what I did with my pile of fabric that I posted FoReVeR ago. I don't really like to use the name quilting for what I did, i more just made a blanket. So the top I did all myself and added some little ribbon embellishments to a few squares but when it came time to actually quilt it all together my mom-in-law ended up sending the whole thing to Dusty's aunt in Florida and she quilted it for me on her big machine. She did such a good job and I love how the pattern ended up. Anyway it will probably take me forever to bind the edges and I will probably never make another one but it was fun just this once.
It's a queen size blanket so it is pretty large. Someday you will see a pic of my kids all wrapped up in it on the couch because I really have no idea what to do with it. What DO people do with these???

Cute Julia...you did a good job. I have the same idea of "quilting" abd I just finished one for the little guy on the way... but I really think what makes it is the quilting I had someone else do one their big machine too. But you really get an A for effort and Emma could use is as a blanket on her bed!
Hmmmm...I think they bind them and give them to their sister in law (me-to be more specific) and let them come up with a good use for cute quilts like these!
