It always happens this time of year right around spring break. Having them home for the week and getting to do whatever we wanted to and playing with friends all day made me excited for summer to be here. Not the heat, but the sleeping in and not having to get the kids to school and just having them home with me will be a nice break. I know in August I will be ready for the school schedule again but I really do love having my kids at home all day. For now I am enjoying the great weather we have and the fact that my kids love to be outside in it also.
Ben has the biggest crush on Gracie and is so overly excited when he knows he gets to play with her. He really can't control himself and is constantly touching her and laying his head on her shoulder, sneaking in little hugs, trying to hold her hand whenever they need to go to the next room. Needless to say I am VERY worried what the next 15 years will bring with him.

Emma and Parker on the other hand, I think they will stick to the seeing each other a couple times a year. Actually they played great all day while his mom got to sit and talk.

Dear Cindy Price,

After several attempts at taking my kids out to take their pics I have decided that it is impossible. Really really not possible. I am hoping they will actually respond to you and possibly even look into the camera and make a nice face at the same time. For some reason, Hunter does not find my jokes funny when really they are. Emma just broke down every time I pointed the lens at her. Maybe your lens is more 3 year old friendly?? Maybe you are more 3 year old friendly?? I will lend her to you for a couple days to try it out. Funny thing is Hunter really thought he was doing a good job and that I wanted pics of him glaring at me. So when you are not busy Cindy and need some subjects, we will travel to you.
Thanks and good luck to you.
Sincerely,
Julia

Isaac's Big Date

This week being spring break brought us a lot of time to spend with Uncle Isaac. This is always a good thing in my boys eyes and I never mind having him over to help entertain us and my kids. Although now that he is almost 16 sometimes he would rather do more grownup activities like............go out on dates.
His crush on Rhegan began last summer during their long talks in Sedona and that fact that she would listen to his 5 minute solo of Piano Man. Then we discovered that they both have a love for Pei Wei. Her because she loves her mom to take her out to eat and him because it has a gluten free menu that he loves. So the first date began their with Isaac and Rhegan and Cindy and I. It was pretty romantic. This spring break I thought we should do that again so when Rhegans Spring Break trip was cancelled we had the perfect opportunity. He called her and asked her out for that night and was doing these dance moves the whole time and had a huge smile on his face. She said yes and invited him over to her house after to watch HSM 3( his favorite).
He pulled out his clothes that he had planned to wear on his big date I saw a nice tux jacket that he planned to wear. I finally convinced him that Pei Wei was more of just a shirt and vest kind of place and we could lose that jacket.
The date went great for him and he even had packed his baby book so they could have something to look at on the drive over and so that he could tell her how I never took care of him when he was a baby. It did get a little awkward when he dedicated every song on the CD that he had made that afternoon to his fiance Kim, and when he refused to let Rhegan be Gabriella in HSM because he was Troy and Kim of course was Gabriella.
I dropped him off after having to run and get some food for my poor pregnant friend and he stayed and played pool with Rhegans dad and they brought him home after 11:00.
Rhegan was a great date the whole night and I'm pretty sure this was the most exciting thing that has happened to him since a girl at school kissed him in the library.
Thankyou Rhegan for giving him such a fun night that he will remember and for singing along with him to Love Story even though you had strep throat. Good Job Cindy for raising such a nice and thoughtful daughter. I hope Emma is as nice as Rhegan and according to Bree she is right on track so that's a good thing in my book.

So there have been some creepy things happening lately that make me question my whole cyber life. I recently was tipped off by one of my friends that I have a face book account full of pics STOLEN from my blog and other resources. If any of you have gotten an invitation to be my friend on this account I would definitely deny my friendship. First off I would never have a face book account because face it I am just not that social and would have more fun ignoring requests from my friends. Second this is a little creepy that I have this stalker who has spent so much time making this account pretending to be me. You never know what kind of crazy things people do. This could be someone totally normal and possibly even a R.S. President? you never know. So just be aware of the people you are friends with and possibly try to de-friend people you think are creepy. I know I should have done this a long time ago. Just wanted you all to know and I hope this never happens to anyone else and I am already in the process of reporting this to the face book squad.

Birthday Weekend

This 3 year old was able to go to build a bear with her grandma and grandpa and go see their puppies all in one day.
She also got to end the night taking a bubble bath with her new Dora mermaid doll and laying in bed watching a new Dora movie. I think she felt spoiled. Actually she probably felt like it was any normal day getting pretty much whatever she wants.
Her Dad and brothers were gone camping and fishing all day on her birthday so we were able to spend a nice quiet day together starting with sleeping in till 9 followed by a bike ride.
We pretended that Sunday was her birthday also and she got to skip half of church as her gift followed by a little birthday cake with more grandparents and a crazy aunt.
That pretty much sums up our birthday weekend.

Born by C-section

at 8:08 am 3 years ago, March 14. Every time I look back at these pics of us in the hospital I want to go back and hold her little body again. I still think she was the cutest baby and looking at these baby pics is the only thing that ever gets me close to wanting another baby. (yes it needs to be a girl) She seems to have gotten older in the last few weeksand even days and really started to act 3.

The Good:
She seems to be talking a lot more and a lot more clearly.
I can start to reason with her a bit.
She can have really funny conversations with me.

The Bad:
Well it's hard to get much worse than how she has been so this list is pretty short.
She has really taken a liken to responding to whatever we say with "NO DADDY, YOU NO TELL EMMA NO" just cute little responses like that.

Despite being the busiest child with the most attitude we are always entertained by our baby girl. I love having a daughter and all that it entails, and yes I love the sassy attitude that comes with it.

Happy Birthday Emma!
