We are leaving for Sedona within the hour.
I have nothing put in to any bags although I do have clothes chosen and taken out.
Mainly swimsuits for the kiddos with the occasional nice shirt .
I have wedding pics I want to put up but really I need to go pack so you get these to look at until I get back. Why I am blogging instead of packing??

Yesterday afternoon I took pics for another friends baby girl and let me just say that this little baby almost makes me want to have another one. She is 5 weeks which is usually a peak fussy time for babies but she is the most relaxed little baby that I have been around in a while. She let out one tiny yell at the very end but was so good the whole time. I LOVE little babies and would take this one in a minute. She even has the name I love and.......well shes a girl( which is what I am having somewhere in the distant future).

I am just starting to take photos for other people and on Sat. I had my first "real" shoot. Usually it's too hot to go outside and take pics but we decided to take advantage of one of the few days where the temperature would only reach 100 and headed out in the morning.
My friend wanted to go to this park and I am so glad she chose this spot because you really can't find a better place to go take pics.
It helps that the kids are all adorable and that they are all friends with my kids ( well I am not sure I would call the two year olds friends) so they are comfortable with me . It was so fun to take these pics and I'm pretty sure their mom liked them:)
Cindy and Lisa the whole time I was thinking how much you guys would love this place. We need to go here!

These were a couple more from our attempt the other day. I usually like it when girls have there shirts on for pics but I just liked her happy face in this one. This was after she had spilled chocolate ice cream on her clothes at Jenna's house and had to run around in a diaper which is not a rare occasion for her. It had been so hard to keep clothes and Yes and diaper on her this summer.
She just loves to take her clothes off and put them back on but usually just leaves them off. She is very independent in that she has put her own shoes and socks on for a while and can dress herself but only if she wants to. Now this is not that big of a deal until you realize that my 5 year old just started dressing himself and putting on his shoes LAST YEAR. I still find myself helping him if i need it to be quick because he is no hurry to do it himself. It's not that he couldn't do it but just that he would refuse to and he is probably one of the most stubborn kids i have ever met ( but that is a whole other post) and I always give in and just help him. So having Emma get her own shoes on and be able to dress herself is just nice. Except when people show up at the door and the two year old runs up completely naked. That.......is just what happens sometimes.

I love these summer days of doing whatever we want.
Last week we decided to head over to my sis. house. She moved a couple months ago and we don't get to see her or baby Luke as often as we used to. So we met them for lunch and then spent the rest of the day destroying her house and taking pics of Luke.
Emma loves to mother Luke and boss him around and Luke liked Emma when she was feeding him ice cream.

I get her ready,
look at her and think that she looks kind of cute.
I call her in to the room with great light where
she finds me with the camera
She immediately gives me the look...........I get her ready,

dad is and he gets her to smile and forget about the camera.
I accidentally left it on AV from when I was playing
with it and forgot when i grabbed the camera.
It ruined what would be cute pics.
