As I was packing up after church my husband informed me that we were going up north for the day with a family in the ward that is less active.  Always trying to find ways to help out this little fam.  I  agreed and we were headed up to Prescott to a nearby lake in the mountains to spend the day relaxing. It was nice to get away from the heat and take a nice little hike around the lake and let the kids skip rocks and look for gross things in the lake.

In other exciting news, Ben has pretty much dropped out of kindergarten and has missed 3 out of the 5 days this week because of his asthma and this was after I told them on Monday that he was not staying home one more day until school gets out next week.  Hopefully he can go on to 1st grade.  He is better just in time to go to the father and sons camp out tonight so I will be relaxing with Emma if their ever was such a thing as relaxing when I am with her. I am hoping 4 will be the magic number for her. 3 definitely is not.

Hey Julia,
Beautiful pictures. I really like that one of Emma for some reason. We're heading into my mom's today if you are around and want to come over.
You know, everyone always talks about the terrible two's, but I really think it's the three's!
At least you have a very self confident child!
See you,
Lisa

You are such a great rs sec, fellowshipping a totally active family like that. Way to go. Hey, how did you have enough gas and food for the day??? I hate it when we can't go on last minute Sunday trips because we don't have enough gas and food, and you know, it's Sunday. I'm so glad your pres has such a great person like you to lead the way.

Oh, I also think if you would put your 3 year old to bed before three in the morning, she would behave better for you during the day. Just saying.

Julia I'm definetly thinking that 4 is the magic number for you, of kids that is:) Emma will totally shape up when she's not the baby of the family anymore.

Hi! Hope you guys are doing well. It sounds like your little Emma is a lot like my little Holly. I would be a little afraid to ever see those two together. :-)
