Don't judge moms that are anxious for school to start!

This year is the first year I have been excited for school to start and it is possible that I will have a little celebration come Monday. I always thought it was a little weird when moms would be excited to have there kids gone and pretty much thought that they were not the greatest moms. Seriously. I now have changed that opinion. It's nice to have kids that are ready and excited to go to school and while I will miss having Ben at home I am really excited for him to be able to go to school. We had meet the teachers this past Thursday and I came away so excited for this school year and for my boys and excited at the thought of having a little bit of time for myself. Ben did not want to leave his classroom and it turns out, I went to elementary school and high school with Hunters teacher. They were both the teachers that I wanted and requested and I was so relieved to know they got who I wanted. I am ready for school to begin and excited for both the boys. A couple months ago I was really nervous for Ben to start school as he was having a really hard time separating from me. It lasted about a month and a half where he would just throw the biggest fit and scream for whoever he was left with. This included screaming for primary, hitting his primary teacher (who fortunately is a big guy that was so patient and nice with him) hitting his swim teachers while screaming refusing to go to his spalding class and even crying and fits when going to grandparents houses. Fits from a 5 year old are a lot worse than a 2 year olds. Let me tell you that was a FUN couple months. It was a tough time for him and us and felt like it lasted a year but he eventually just stopped and is now acting like an almost normal 5 year old. Now he is ready and excited for Kindergarten and I am ready and excited for him to go.

I think these 3 pics are my fav. I can't decide on Bens.

Bree
I knew you would understand what I am going through. I made this post while thinking about you and your kid knowing you would have a hard time leaving him.
Come to basketball tomorrow night and it will help you to feel better. seriously.
