Ben loved playing with the moss and flinging it towards rocks or people.

Emma had no interest in being near it.

.............and she really didn't like it when her Dad put it on her leg and it stuck there.

But they still managed to stay friends.

Hunter was at home sick for this hike so there are no pics of him.

This was also the hike that as we were getting ready to turn back because it was starting to rain Dusty was showing Ben how to skip rocks and he went to throw one and "lost his balance" and the rock flew sideways and sliced open the back of Ben's head.

It was a pretty clean slice but a slice nonetheless and we were in the middle of the canyon.

We hurried and hiked back to the cabin and Dusty played doctor and shaved the area and sterilized the cut before putting a nice butterfly bandage on a cut they may or may not have needed stitches. It is healing up nicely and in some of the pics you can see his nice bandage on the back of his head.
