Dan this ones for you..........

My friend called me the other morning to babysit her little girl while they all went to the movies. Emma pretty much babysat her the whole time which was nice and I just had to snap a couple pics of her. I showed the pics of her to her brothers later on that day and they said this little girl looked hideous and they had no idea who it was. Apparently they are not used to her being dressed liked this. ?????

So I feel like I've been a little busy lately mostly just taking and editing pics for people and not taking any pics of my now 8 year old.
Yeah 8, meaning his baptism and birthday came and went without a mention on his moms blog. He also had to start going to scouts this week and this is him picking a cheer for his first pack meeting. We have yet to get the official lame scout shirt but I'm sure we will get one eventually. I really can't honestly write how I feel about the scouting program so lets just say I really debated about signing him up for this little club. In the end it was up to him and of course being the super corny nice kid that he is this was right up his alley. Especially the cheers. He loved it and I love seeing him happy. Plus I'm a scout leader so if I go to the pack meetings I may as well have him sitting next to me.

This is an old pic I found where apparently someone told Emma no she could not have cereal for breakfast and since she really has no interest in listening to people she still sat there and tried to get it herself.

Just because these kids are cute..........

Usually when I photograph families it tends to be the kids who are looking off everywhere but into the camera.
Well there is always a first!
These kids were great and even the 1 year old was just standing there looking at my camera looking cute.
As I was editing these pics I started to notice that in every one the parents were staring off into different directions looking at who knows what, not to mention that the Dad was not even smiling in most of them . Then the mom claims that "she didn't really know that I had already started to take the pics" and thought that they were" just standing there". Apparently all the kids heard me but not the parents.
I'm thinking just a photo of the boys may work out.

Occasionally I have people show up at my door asking for head shots for their myspace or facebook or online dating ?? Weird I know but being the nice person I am agree to do it for a small fee of cleaning the kids playroom( which i hadn't touched since getting back from NY ) I thought it ended up being a fair trade and I hope her myspace fans love them.

*** I don't normally trade pics for cleaning unless you happen to be in the singles ward and come up with photoshoot ideas every week.................then I will think about it.
