My kids ask all year long

When they can go back to the "sedona house", and I look forward to us going back all year long.

Hunter decided that every time he saw the camera he would do "action shots" for me.
Yep they all turned out this good and he thought he was hilarious as usual.

They loved having these nets up there and I will be sure to bring those again since they supplied hours of entertainment at the creek.

So I know Im backtracking big time but..........

when your house is spotless and you are caught up with everything in life, this is what you do.

The weekend after school started for my boys we headed to our favorite spot in Arizona. 3 days spent at Oak Creek was great as usual. The kids lived outside, bossed their cousins and grandparents around ( well only Emma did this) and begged to go on hikes. Despite the fact that they were really into catching snakes in the water or bushes I enjoyed the relaxing weekend with them.
What 4 year old girl is in love with wild snakes and has no fear in grabbing them out of the water?

Found these little pics from

back in August. I cant find them in my main folders of pics and therefore can't edit them at all but i thought they show small glimpse of how much she loves herself, because seriously, she does.

Im flattered

that anyone thought that I took these pics of my kids. If you have learned anything from my two blog posts this year, you should know that my kids rarely cooperate for me. For these I headed to Maricopa and met my sis in law Cindy from www.lilypstudio.com who is my favorite photographer and she was willing to spend her evening out in the orchards with my kids.
Ben had a major meltdown while we were trying to leave her house and she had to convince him to even get in the car, but he ended up not having a tear stained face like i was sure he would.

I may try to catch my little blog up from the past 6 months..............

why didn't i think of this sooner

One of my goals for the week was to get some cute pics of my kids at the beach in real clothes. Not sure why i thought my kids would cooperate? Not only did they not cooperate, they(emma and ben) each threw huge fits during the times we were trying to get pics. Emma was completely done by the time we had walked down the beach where I wanted to shoot and the above pic is an example of what she will do when shes had enough. Our last night there i knew i had not gotten any good pic of the three angels so i did what any good mom would do. They each made 10 bucks for about 15 minutes of looking happy. We walked a couple houses down the street and then one just around the corner. The homes in this little neighborhood were sooo adorable and each one was so different and unique. I couldn't decide which styles I liked best and I loved the way they looked for a background. Hunters hair is a little out of control in the pics but at least there is no spit pouring out of any ones mouth or rolling eyes every second.

Yes, I was sick of my kids after 12 days of no break

Our last night in Lajolla we finally took the kids to the toy store that I had been promising them all week and out for some Mexican food. It was perfect weather to be out walking around and of course they went back and forth over which toys to get with their hard earned money. They all seemed happy with their choices until the next morning when we are in the middle of loading the car and both the boys had meltdowns about their toys. Both of their problems they claimed were my fault. Hunter was convinced he had put a do-it-yourself rubber band ball on the checkout counter and Ben was angry because I had made him choose the less expensive and smaller set of those stick things you can see in his hand. He was sure this was the reason why he was not an expert at them already. Feeling not at all sorry for my boys, i continued packing the car while yelling at them about being ungrateful for what they got. Needless to say, we didn't leave on the happiest note and after a lengthy 5 hours I was more than happy to drop them all off with my Mom and Isaac, run home for 10 minutes and shower and change and meet up with friends for dinner while Dustin slaved away at work;)
