We are on Day 4

of having a fever and feeling miserable. Well not really we but when shes miserable, so am I. I do okay until the fourth day of no exercise or getting out of the house, or playing tennis or doing anything social. The upside is I have been forced to be home and get a ton of much needed work done and I have been able to just sit and hold Emma a lot. She is even sick of being home and just wanted to get out and sit in the stroller while i grocery shopped. All she wants to eat is a little bag of red chips ( Doritos) and drink juice and water. I'm pretty sure i would be sick if thats all i ate as well. I'm praying for a recovery by tomorrow.

We have also been

•enjoying the last of spring before summer gets here
•painting the tree house until the novelty of painting had worn off leaving it 3/4 done
•finding Emma's hair in a pile on the bathroom floor. (i think this brings it to a total of 6 times that she has cut her own hair)
•enjoying Hunters football games every Friday night. His team is getting better each time. that first game was a little hard to watch.
•playing tennis whenever I can.
•we also were able to go on two dates this past weekend which is always great and always needed. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE having a kid that can babysit. well it pretty much has changed my life.
ITS SOOOO NICE

We celebrated Easter by

heading to grandparents house and playing with ALL the cousins that had come into town and having a big Easter egg hunt. Emma also enjoyed flying kites while Hunter pretended he was too big for his cousins and talked sports with his uncles.

Because Im sick of blogging

and I'm pretty sure I'm sick about the fact that she has to grow up and become a teenager.

Although we got to have 3 teenage girls stay with us for over a week and we LOVED it.
I just think my teenage girl is going to give me a lot harder of a time than they did.

a little bit of christmas morning

We woke up Christmas morning to a silent house and I would have enjoyed a little more time in bed but Dusty couldn't wait to wake up the kids this morning. It was after 9:15 so I couldn't really argue with him. My kids take after their Dad and love to sleep in.
I love having Christmas morning at our house just with our kids. We left and headed over to my parents house for a great breakfast that was waiting for us and some funny breakfast conversation around the table with my siblings. These meals are always fun and we end up laughing more than anything and we were in no rush to go open presents. We did however and Hunter and Ben both got new bikes. Hunter rode his over to Dusty's parents house to break it in. We all headed over to go see more cousins and spend the day playing with them. I love Christmas time and still have yet to take my tree down. I really just love having the lights on at night time and I know its going to be a couple hour job whenever I decide to do it. ................

She really did like her new doll stroller and highchair............
and she was pretty excited about the fairy toothbrush

but the box of Dora band aids was one of the favorites.
Every bump since has been covered by one of these.
