Family pic outakes..............

Sunday Morning we decide we are driving out to see Dusty's sisters.
Sunday Morning I decide on our way out we will see if we can have his sister snap a couple pics of us.
Sunday after church I lay some clothes out on the couch and in 10 minutes have the outfits decided.
After our hour drive and waking Emma up we spend 1o minutes outside taking pics.
It was not a fun 10 minutes for our photographer and was pleasantly surprised at all that she was able to capture.
I should not be surprised. She is a great photographer that taught me everything i know.........
All of my boys were out of control wild and my girl was just a grump. As i  sat watching the wrestling matches,  I  wondered what the heck I was thinking when deciding to attempt pics again.

But I'm glad I did.

Thanksgiving 2009

started out with our annual charity turkey trot and turkey bowl for the boys.  We had a great turnout this year with just under 75 people and raised a good amount of money. I wish I could have run the whole thing and probably won this year but we had some problems with some runners not following the arrows very well and coming back too early.  It was a fun way to start the day and I have no pics of it. I am looking for someone to win it next year so if you are a girl and a really fast runner email me and make sure you train all this year.

Thanksgiving day we made it over to my aunts house and spent the day visiting with my cousins and siblings and taking a lot of pics. This poor dog was glad when thanksgiving was over and he was allowed to leave Emma's lap.

October 31

To no surprise Halloween is not my favorite Holiday. It is apparent by the lame costumes put together hours before we leave. Emma of course changed her outfit back and forth from a cheerleader to a princess.

The kids had a great time at the Halloween Party Aunt Katie planned for them with all of their cousins and Dusty and I were exhausted and fell asleep on the couch.
They are lucky that their aunts and uncles get into Halloween and love them enough to take them as their own that night.
Good Job Katie and Jon!

Hunter

10 days later we celebrated Hunters 9 Bday

He is to no surprise my easiest kid
He is really turning out to be an amazing kid that I love hanging out with.
He is my biggest help and a great babysitter.
He tries hard in school and does perfect.
He loves math and I am glad that his Dad likes to help him with that.
He plays basketball and likes me to rate him 1 to 10 at the end of his games on how well he played.
Yesterday I gave him an eleven. It helps that he missed the cutoff and is now probably the oldest in the league and the tallest.
He had always been a sensitive boy and pretty aware of how people are feeling.
He loves to argue his point no matter how wrong he is. Just ask him how to say Brett Favre name. This really frustrates him that it is pronounced weird.
We love to watch sports together although mainly just basketball and football and he is on the computer memorizing stats daily.
He is not a perfect kid but he really does come close at times.

Ben

A while ago this guy had a  birthday.
He is now 7 and has gotten easier with each passing year.
So if you know him now, imagine how he used to be.
He is my little challenge at times.
He is stubborn and hilarious
He loves crafts, playing wizards, vampires and pretty much any pretending.
He does not like sports (well except for hula hooping and recreational wrestling)
He is way too nice to his little sister.
He has a lot of energy.............to the point where sometimes he does walk down the hallway and bounce from wall to wall and roll of of them. I love this....and don't quite know what to do.
He has started to finally read really well.
He refused to go to summer spalding class and did I mention he is REALLY stubborn.
I love his sense of humor and how he laughs at himself.
His laugh is the best and always makes me laugh.
I am so glad my fattest baby came to me 7 years ago.

*** For Bens party this year he got to choose two friends and go to As You Wish to paint pottery. He chose his other craft loving boy friend and Gracie who he is just in love with.
I think they loved playing in the play set at Chickfilet more than anything.
Next year i am just taking a couple friends there and calling it good.

Our little girl.

While riding in a bike trailer together yesterday, Emma and Hadyn were comparing tummy's and of course discussing the babies that they each had in their tummy. This is not that uncommon of a conversation. They have gone as far as pretending to be pregnant cheerleaders. So last night after this pregnant filled day, Emma brought in a roll of paper towels and sat down on the bed by her dad and then ripped one off and started wiping at her chest telling him how she was " cleaning off all the milk off her chest cause her baby made a mess and she needed to clean her chest".  Dusty looked at me with big eyes, not understanding her at all.
I think he was just too proud to speak at the moment.
I think he also so proud of her when she insists on only being called Sharpe from HSM and belting at the songs as she walks around the house.
We have a very confident, busy, bossy and sometimes sweet little girl living here.
