There may have been some crushes that developed up there and I'm pretty sure they were on the same girl.............

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                 Emma was content to do what she always does...........whatever she wants, pretty much doing anything without asking which is changing into different bathing suits 5 times a day and doing whatever she feels like.  She loved having her friend Hadyn up for a day and Ben was in heaven having friends up there who enjoyed doing what he likes.  That consisted of exploring anywhere he could and trying to rescue every bug, caterpillar, snail, moth, rolypoly , ant and pretty much any other living thing. The older boys just threatened to put salt in the the snails pretty much the whole day. 

 

 

 

 

                                              We drove the couple minutes to slide walk one day where Hunter tried 

                                                   to race every person down the slide and I lost Ben for a long 5 minutes. 

                                               

                                             

 

 

 

 

A Cabin that sits on Oak Creek is quite possibly the best vacation for kids and for me. 

The kids survived the week without internet video games and very limited t.v.

They roamed the property looking for bugs and played a thousand games of baseball and badmitton. 

The daily hikes and swimming in the swimming holes were also highlights. 

Playing with uncles, grandparents, cousins and friends outside all day makes them happy and I enjoyed it just as much as they did. 

 

 

 

 

I love it when other people have babies.......

 

 

 

Seeing a c-section was a pretty amazing thing and to see such a cute baby come out of it is equally as amazing. 

I really loved every second of seeing the surgery and the miracle of it all and was so glad that I was able to be apart of it.

Baby Carter already loves me and calmed down every time I held him.  I wish I could say the same for when Ashley and Krista held him but....I just can't.  

Julianne already assured me that on her next baby she will let Tara, Ash, Krista and maybe even Cindy in the room. Until then I guess I will continue to be her coach.

Just a day in my life.......

My day consisted of going with a small group of 15 kids to Mud Mania in Scottsdale. It was hot and really crowded and I am not sure why they don't do this event in April or even May when it is bearable to be outside.  I wanted to leave almost as soon as I got there. The kids had a good time but I will probably not be returning next year. From there we took a quick detour to our fav. dessert/lunch/snack place Bahama Bucks. That pretty much made up for being miserably hot at mud mania. 

Then we headed up to the Hyatt and swam with the kids for at least a couple hours and Ben enjoyed feeding the fish and duck right out of his hand. He also enjoyed using up an entire bag of gold fish doing this. 

Took the kiddos over to Grandmas and ran out to get a birthday present and it was at Nordstroms Rack that I got the call. 

I am in labor.............they want to schedule a C-section for an hour and my husband is 4 hours away. 

So I drove home to get my camera and then back to Scottsdale North Hospital where I assisted the nurses and doctors in delivering the cutest baby. He is the 5th boy and it was a surprise delivery!  

His mom did amazing and really acted like this was no big deal even though I know she did not want to have a C-section.  This baby knew that if it had waited until next week when I was out of town I would have possibly missed his birth and knowing that I will probably be his favorite of all his Moms two friends he came at the perfect time. 

I am a bit exhausted and am excited to go up and see him tomorrow.
