I can't help but feel so happy for him and the reunions he is having tonight. I am grateful that he dedicated his life to serving god and our church. His example and strength has helped my testimony to grow and these past 12 years. I will miss hearing his voice at conference and his always witty observations. He was truly a beloved prophet. We will miss him.

I don't know about this test?
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!

Potty Time
Yes it's potty training time at our house so I don't think I will be going out much the next couple days. That's okay though if this really works and leads us to be a diaper free house. This morning I decided since I didn't have any plans to go anywhere because my house needed some attention that I might as well try it out. So I brought out the little toilet and set it in front of the T.V. and toys and told her all about it and took off her diaper. 20 minutes later as I was getting out of the shower Ben ran in and told me that Emma had gone and surprisingly it was on her little potty. She went 5 times in her little toilet but did have an accident right before bed while I was out running and she was in Dad's care. We will see how tomorrow goes but I am really hoping she will be an easy kid to potty train. I'm not sure what to do about nap time if I should leave her in her panties or go back to diapers. I have dreaded potty training but she seems to catch on pretty quick so that's a good sign. I rarely post something with no pics but there are thankfully no pics to go with this post.
My birthday week is over but it was really such a fun week. I love birthdays again. For my bday we went out to our favorite sushi place and then did a little shopping. A couple nights later I had a girls night birthday dinner which was so nice to just get out with girls and laugh. Friday night my parents came and picked up all the kids for a sleepover at about 4:00 so we were again kid free which is the best birthday present! So nice to have parents that come take the kids and I know the kids are having more fun at grandmas house then they would with me so i never worry about them. Sat after basketball games and baptisms I went out to see Juno for the 2nd time with some girlfriends. ( I rarely see movies and I don't think I have ever seen a movie twice in the theater but i think i even liked it better the second time). I have the nicest husband that never minds having a Dad's night at home with the kids. I thinks they secretly like it when I leave so they can just sit and watch movies and eat popcorn and snacks and just hang out. Either way it's good for everyone( well maybe not Dustin) . I really love my birthday week and look forward to turning 28.

Snow........well a little bit
My sis. in-law took pics of the kiddos while we were there and I'm hoping hers turned out better than any of mine. I have a feeling with her Talent and a little help from her camera the pics will be great and I am anxious to see them.....but take your time Cin. We had such a fun vacation with all of the Liljenquist's. I am so lucky I married into such a fun family that I will go on vacation with them without my husband. It was fun hanging out with all the kids and even getting in a little bit of snowboarding. I forgot how much I liked going and remember why D. and I spent all of our time and money when we were dating going snowboarding. I think we knew we would go 8 years without going so we had to get in all in within a couple years. I loved seeing Park City covered in snow and loved the novelty of having to stay inside because of the bad snowstorm, we just don't get to experience any exciting weather here in AZ. It was a great trip(long funny drive) but I was glad to be back home with my husband and in my own bed. Thanks Keri and Justin for inviting us up for such a fun time!

See ya 26
So this was one of Ben's fav. Christmas presents. Spin Art. Next time we will put an old shirt on because it is too tempting to take off the plastic shield while it is still spinning.
Here she is without any makeup on.

First Blog of 2008
We had the best New Years Eve! My Mom decided to have a kid new years eve party and had my kids and some cousins over to spend the night and the best part was that Emma was invited also which meant that from 5:00 on we were free to do whatever we wanted with no time limit. Shopping at Last Chance, dinner, movie, playing games, reading and of course sleeping in and not having to get up and make breakfast for anyone. It was the greatest day to just be alone and know we had all night to do whatever we wanted. Emma did great and I think they would now consider doing it again. (my birthday is coming up soon).......
