I'm not Superstitious just a little stitious

I try not to wait too long in between blogs and I am always thinking of great things that I could write about on my blog all of which I never get to . What have we been up to lately??

Hunter throwing up on our way to drop him off at grandparents house so we could go on a great date to Flo's and elsewhere. Hunter throwing up on our way home from our date in the car again(this time in a bowl) Who knew that after throwing up once you shouldn't have 2 corn dogs and juice. That is enough to make me throw up when i am NOT sick.

Working out.

Thinking about finishing by blanket/quilt

Thinking(seriously) about painting the playroom and the boys room.

Not thinking about the fact that I have two friends moving on the same day in about 4 weeks to Idaho of all places. Mine and Ben's life will be changed without Jen and Zack. Zack is Ben's only friend that he goes to school with and we switch kids at least a couple times a week not to mention that we carpool for preschool depending on whose baby is sleeping. It's not easy replacing friendships and finding good friends that you trust your kids with. I am going to be really sad come Nov. 3 although the Suns season starts around then so I will also be really happy.

So for about the past 2WEEKS I did not know what all the sudden made my sweet funny little girl turn into a fit throwing crying whining child that does not sleep through the night and gets up at 5:30 -6:30 (my kids are usually good about sleeping in ) . The other day while i was making her laugh i saw the reason sticking through her gums. Four to be exact... She is a little late in the teeth department ...at 18 months she had her front four. Anyway the last couple days she is back to her normal self that still throws some great fits but she slept until 8 this morning and I can't ask for more than that!
I'm getting bored by my own stories here so that is the signal to end the blog .

I had never posted a video before and was playing with the camera this morning with Emma and this was the result. It's fun when you can start to recognize what your child is starting to say. Even if i am the only one that can understand it. I still think it is funny.

I think i am liking my new blog background, a nice little change. Ben saw the camera the other morning and wanted me to take pics of him going to school so that's as good as i got but the pics of himself laughing made him crack up again. We had a fun filled weekend of parties every day. Friday we had a "boys party", with seven boys over, cheese pizza, root beer, some intense basketball games on the tramp, air hockey table and kind of sitting down to a movie but just ended up playing Lego's. What more could 5,6 and 7 year old ask for. It was crazy but the boys all loved it. Sat after basketball games and birthday parties we took the boys to a Diamondbacks game and they really liked it most of the time. It was a little long for Ben who by the end of the game had shelled and crushed a half a bag of peanuts. It kept him very occupied so that's all that matters. Sunday was another family birthday party and another late night. Monday night all the kids were in bed by 7ish so they could catch up on some much needed sleep.

We need a bigger sink!

Emma still loves taking baths in the sink . After playing in the sand box with the hose for a couple hours this morning it was a must. Her Dad thinks she is a little too big for these baths but they are way too convenient sometimes. I just thought she was looking cute in the sink and since her days are numbered for these bathes in the kitchen this was my last chance to get some pics.

Emma's 18 month birthday..........

My little baby is 18 months old today and i really am amazed at how fast time has gone by. 18months old is just as hard as it is fun I've decided. Emma's personality comes out more and more each day and frankly i am a little bit scared for my future. She is hilarious the way she puts her hands on her face and does her highest scream for no reason other than to get a laugh out of me and her brothers. At eighteen months she still has not grown out of her phase of climbing on EVERYTHING! She just loves to be up high and has no fear of heights or danger really. She loves her Littlest Pet Shop animals and of course her baby and stroller which she sometimes uses to chase and scare little boys. She also loves shoes and would love it if i would spend hours with her just putting on and taking off all her shoes. She is also my first child to LOVE markers or anything that can write on her hands and stomach.....and the wood floors.....and rugs. Good thing I spend the little extra for the washable ones. She also just went to the grocery store for the last time in her life i think. I will never take her again! She would dive headfirst out of the little truck cart and would just run down the aisles laughing and would throw an Oscar winning fit every time i would try to contain her. Safeway will not miss her.
Emma is so lucky that she has two brothers that really adore her and just laugh when she knocks down their towers or hits and scratches their faces(this is the new phase) when she gets mad or is constantly asking for bites of their food.... they never say no to her they just always give to her. I really do not want to have that princessy spoiled girl that no one likes but she basically rules out house so we will see what we can do to make sure she turns our likable as well. I really have loved everyday of this past year and a half with a little girl. I really think everybody needs just one girl! So for my friends with and abundance of boys(i really have a lot of them) the fourth or fifth times the charm.... i think.

BFF's

Friday morning I was talking to Chelsea telling her how i couldn't go look at fabric that day because i had way too much cleaning to do at my house and just couldn't leave another day (Jenna having her baby kept me preoccupied and i had completely let my house go). So since i was postponing our fabric shopping day once again she told me she was coming over and arrived at my doorstep with a bucket of cleaning supplies and ready to work. It was such a dream to have somebody come over and just help clean and somebody that you love to talk to as well. She worked for 4 hours and left me feeling so much better and motivated to have a clean house. So after a fun weekend of going to the diamond backs game with them and Dusty and I staying up late watching HEROES DVDs (which we are completely addicted to right now) we finally made it to the fabric store yesterday and came out with such fun fabrics that will be the cutest blanket! eventually. It's so great to have good friends that are willing to help you out and that make you want to be a better person and that don't judge you no matter how dirty your laundry room is. She doesn't have time for any other friends so don't try and be friends with her now that you know how nice she is.
When we were paying for out fabric i just thought it looked so fun all stacked up (i have never bought fabric before) and i told Chelsea that we needed to take a pic of it. She didn't quite get my vision so this pic is for you Chelsea. I love it.

New Nephew

My Little sister finally had her baby yesterday! Luke Kreed Ziegler came Sept. 5 weighing 7lbs11oz. She was so relieved not to have a baby like me. Emma loved the new baby and was actually pretty soft with him but lost interest in him and was much more into the buttons on the hospital bed. Ben was so excited to have a new cousin and was so cute with Luke.
