We need a bigger sink!

Emma still loves taking baths in the sink . After playing in the sand box with the hose for a couple hours this morning it was a must. Her Dad thinks she is a little too big for these baths but they are way too convenient sometimes. I just thought she was looking cute in the sink and since her days are numbered for these bathes in the kitchen this was my last chance to get some pics.

Emma's 18 month birthday..........

My little baby is 18 months old today and i really am amazed at how fast time has gone by. 18months old is just as hard as it is fun I've decided. Emma's personality comes out more and more each day and frankly i am a little bit scared for my future. She is hilarious the way she puts her hands on her face and does her highest scream for no reason other than to get a laugh out of me and her brothers. At eighteen months she still has not grown out of her phase of climbing on EVERYTHING! She just loves to be up high and has no fear of heights or danger really. She loves her Littlest Pet Shop animals and of course her baby and stroller which she sometimes uses to chase and scare little boys. She also loves shoes and would love it if i would spend hours with her just putting on and taking off all her shoes. She is also my first child to LOVE markers or anything that can write on her hands and stomach.....and the wood floors.....and rugs. Good thing I spend the little extra for the washable ones. She also just went to the grocery store for the last time in her life i think. I will never take her again! She would dive headfirst out of the little truck cart and would just run down the aisles laughing and would throw an Oscar winning fit every time i would try to contain her. Safeway will not miss her.
Emma is so lucky that she has two brothers that really adore her and just laugh when she knocks down their towers or hits and scratches their faces(this is the new phase) when she gets mad or is constantly asking for bites of their food.... they never say no to her they just always give to her. I really do not want to have that princessy spoiled girl that no one likes but she basically rules out house so we will see what we can do to make sure she turns our likable as well. I really have loved everyday of this past year and a half with a little girl. I really think everybody needs just one girl! So for my friends with and abundance of boys(i really have a lot of them) the fourth or fifth times the charm.... i think.

BFF's

Friday morning I was talking to Chelsea telling her how i couldn't go look at fabric that day because i had way too much cleaning to do at my house and just couldn't leave another day (Jenna having her baby kept me preoccupied and i had completely let my house go). So since i was postponing our fabric shopping day once again she told me she was coming over and arrived at my doorstep with a bucket of cleaning supplies and ready to work. It was such a dream to have somebody come over and just help clean and somebody that you love to talk to as well. She worked for 4 hours and left me feeling so much better and motivated to have a clean house. So after a fun weekend of going to the diamond backs game with them and Dusty and I staying up late watching HEROES DVDs (which we are completely addicted to right now) we finally made it to the fabric store yesterday and came out with such fun fabrics that will be the cutest blanket! eventually. It's so great to have good friends that are willing to help you out and that make you want to be a better person and that don't judge you no matter how dirty your laundry room is. She doesn't have time for any other friends so don't try and be friends with her now that you know how nice she is.
When we were paying for out fabric i just thought it looked so fun all stacked up (i have never bought fabric before) and i told Chelsea that we needed to take a pic of it. She didn't quite get my vision so this pic is for you Chelsea. I love it.

New Nephew

My Little sister finally had her baby yesterday! Luke Kreed Ziegler came Sept. 5 weighing 7lbs11oz. She was so relieved not to have a baby like me. Emma loved the new baby and was actually pretty soft with him but lost interest in him and was much more into the buttons on the hospital bed. Ben was so excited to have a new cousin and was so cute with Luke.

BANGS!!!

Well this evening while on the computer I was thinking how nice it was that Ben and Emma were playing together so nicely and Hunter was into his baseball game. Of course that is never a good sign and this was no exception. About two minutes after this thought Emma brought me one of my makeup brushes and a little dish that sits next to my makeup. A little nervous i made my way to the bathroom and it wasn't toooobad. An old bronzer was a little smashed up and some things out of place but really nothind bad. Until i started noticing all these long hairs in bunches and then a small pile of these long hairs. SOOooo Ben had found my cuticle scissors and decided to cut Emmas hair in the front where he thought it was too long. I have been trying to grow out her bangs since she was born so she would not have any but thanks to Ben she now has exactly what i decided she was not going to have. I am now back to square one with growing her hair. out. It was soooo close to being tucked behind her ears!! I'm really glad he didn't take any from the back and he really did a fairly good job if i had wanted her bangs trimmed.

So the other day i said to Hunter "you should start thinking about what you want to be for Halloween because it's coming up". He sat there for a couple seconds and then said"oh i already know....I'm going to be superman again since my costume from last year still fits me and we don't need to go out and buy a new one and waste money, you know you wouldn't want to just waste money". So i sat there and agreed with him glad that i have such a frugal child. He once told me when i had come home from a Target trip with some necessary thing that i can't remember "mom you don't just have to buy everything just cause you want it."
It is just funny he is just naturally like this because we really don't talk about money in front of him ever.
I am enjoying having the boys in school and having time with only 1 kid to take on errands. I am really enjoying this stage of being a mom. Still having a baby that is so much fun and having some older kids as well that can take care of themselves and are so fun to talk to.

New School Year

Emma was thouroughly enjoying the first day of school treat. As soon as she saw them she ran over and said "ease ease". She rarely says that when I ask her to but for the cup cake she had great manners.

Hunter has been wanting to ride his bike to school since last year so he was so excited to be able to ride finally.
Well....Ben was very excited for his school to start and was not afraid to pose for his pics.

First day of the first grade. (that song is stuck in my head all day long)

So this last pic was Hunter's first day of school which he was really excited for. He didn't get into the posing quite as much as Ben .
